This notice explains the personal information used for the A3GET website, business enquiries and related communications. It also explains how to contact us about your information.
1. Who is responsible for your information
A3GET Limited is registered in Nigeria, company registration number 7302888. In this notice, “A3GET”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company. We determine how personal information is used for our own website and business enquiries.
For questions, access requests, corrections, deletion requests or objections, email sales@a3get.com. Please use “Privacy request” in the subject so we can identify your request.
Client fabrication portals are separate services. Where A3GET processes information on a client’s instructions, the relevant client privacy notice and our agreement with that client govern that processing. This notice does not replace those documents.
2. Information we receive
We receive information you choose to provide when you contact us, request a Quote-Flow Review or discuss a project. Depending on the enquiry, this can include:
- Your name, work email, company and country or region, plus your company website if you choose to provide it.
- Your role, fabrication processes, CAD file formats, approximate RFQ volume, current quotation method and preferred next step, if you provide these optional details.
- The quoting problem or message you describe, correspondence with our team, and notes needed to follow up on your request.
- Limited campaign labels associated with the link you followed, such as a campaign source or name. These labels help explain how an enquiry reached us; they are not intended to contain personal identifiers.
3. Website requests and information from other sources
Operating a website involves processing technical request information such as an IP address, browser information, requested address and request time. Hosting and security services may use this information to deliver pages, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
If we receive your details from a business referral or identify a relevant business contact from a public source, the information may include your name, role, business contact details and company information. Sources may include the relevant company website, a professional profile or a business directory. You can ask which source was used in your case. Public availability does not remove your privacy rights.
Our website is for business enquiries and is not directed at children. The enquiry forms do not request CAD uploads, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information. Please avoid including these in a general enquiry. A project needing confidential material should use an agreed channel and appropriate terms.
4. Why we use information
The purpose and legal basis depend on the activity and your relationship with A3GET. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, the following bases may apply to the specified processing:
Scroll across to read the full table on a small screen.
| Purpose | Basis and scope |
|---|---|
| Respond to an enquiry, prepare a requested review or discuss a proposal | Steps you request before a contract, where you are the prospective contracting party. For a representative contacting us on behalf of a business, our legitimate interest in answering that business request, subject to assessing necessity and your rights. |
| Deliver and administer an agreed client relationship | Performance of a contract where applicable, legitimate interests in business administration, and relevant legal obligations for records we must retain. |
| Protect the website and investigate misuse | Our legitimate interest in keeping the service reliable and secure, balanced against your privacy and rights. We limit the information used to what is necessary for this purpose. |
| Optional analytics or promotional communications | Consent where required. Requesting a review, acknowledging this notice or visiting the website does not itself provide marketing or analytics consent. |
| Respond to rights requests or lawful authority requests | Applicable legal obligations, and the limited information needed to verify, handle and document the request. |
5. Enquiries, marketing and your choices
Submitting an enquiry is voluntary. We need sufficient contact and project information to answer it; without this, we may be unable to provide a useful response. Optional qualification fields can be left blank.
A response to the request you made is separate from a promotional mailing programme. We will obtain the consent required for direct marketing and will not treat the privacy acknowledgement on a contact form as that consent.
You can object to direct marketing at any time by emailing sales@a3get.com or replying to a message. We will stop using your information for that purpose. A minimal opt-out record may be retained so the objection continues to be respected.
6. International processing
A3GET operates from Nigeria. Our enquiry-management system and the primary storage for spam-limit and enquiry-processing records are in the United States. Website delivery, support and security services may also involve processing outside Nigeria.
If you accept analytics, Google processes analytics information using infrastructure in multiple countries, including the United States.
International transfers must have a lawful basis and any safeguards required by applicable law. Where a transfer relies on your consent, we explain the transfer and request that consent separately from acknowledging this notice.
Contact sales@a3get.com for information about the processing locations and safeguards that apply to your information.
7. How long we keep information
The periods and criteria below form our retention policy for website information and enquiries. We review records regularly and delete them when they are no longer needed. Some records are reviewed and deleted manually.
A documented legal hold may preserve the limited information needed for a specific obligation or claim. The possibility of a future sale does not, by itself, justify keeping an enquiry indefinitely.
Scroll across to read the full table on a small screen.
| Record | Retention |
|---|---|
| Unsuccessful enquiries and preliminary project discussions | We delete these records no later than 6 months after the initial enquiry if no contract is agreed, or earlier when they are no longer needed. A documented need to retain limited information for a legal claim is an exception. Routine follow-up does not restart this period. |
| Client contracts, invoices and necessary project records | For the relationship and the additional period required by applicable accounting, tax, contractual and legal-claim obligations. The record category and applicable requirement determine the period. |
| Routine website security and access logs | Our policy is to retain routine logs for no more than 30 days. A limited incident record may be kept longer where an investigation or legal requirement justifies it. |
| Privacy requests and marketing objections | We keep the minimum evidence needed to handle the request, demonstrate our response and continue to respect an objection. We review whether it is still needed; preserving an opt-out does not require keeping the original enquiry. |
| Website enquiry receipt cookie | 15 minutes after a confirmed successful submission. It contains the form type and signed timestamps, not the enquiry text or contact details. |
| Google Analytics user and event data | We configure a 14-month retention period for user-level and event-level data. Expired data is deleted through Google’s monthly process. New activity does not restart the user-data retention period. Standard aggregated reports are not subject to this setting. |
| Analytics cookies and preferences | Analytics cookies are configured to last 180 days without automatic renewal. We honour a saved accept or reject choice for 180 days. The cookie notice explains browser storage, campaign labels and how to change your choice. |
| Spam limits and duplicate-submission protection | Spam-limit records expire after 10 minutes. Short submission locks expire after 60 seconds or five minutes, depending on their purpose. Accepted-request fingerprints expire after 24 hours; completed CRM processing records expire seven days after their last update. An unresolved delivery record remains until reviewed and reconciled so that an uncertain submission is not repeated. We review unresolved records promptly and at least monthly, and remove them when no longer needed. These records contain fingerprints, status and CRM identifiers, not the enquiry text or contact details. |
9. Protecting information
Online enquiry forms include server-side validation, spam checks and controls against duplicate submissions. Credentials for connected services stay on the server, and access is limited to the task being performed. These measures reduce risk; they do not eliminate every risk.
Personal information is accessible to authorised team members and providers supporting website hosting, enquiry management and security. Relevant information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where required by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.
No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe information has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly. We will investigate and make notifications required by applicable law.
10. Your rights and how to exercise them
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, a qualifying portable copy, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Visitors in the Americas and Europe may have additional rights under the privacy law that applies to the relevant processing. Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, you may also complain to your competent supervisory authority. Nothing in this notice limits those rights. Use the contact details above to make a request, and tell us your country or region so we can identify the applicable process.
We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing records. We will explain the outcome, any lawful limitation and the applicable response period. You do not need to provide an identity document with an initial request.
The marketing website does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means. Anti-spam controls may reject a submission; email provides an alternative way to contact our team.
11. Complaints and updates
Please send a concern to sales@a3get.com so we can investigate. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. This does not limit any additional rights or complaint route available under the law that applies to you.
We will update this notice when our processing or provider arrangements change. The revision date identifies the version; material changes requiring a new choice will be explained before the relevant new processing begins.
